BASFORD women's over-40's have booked their place in the quarter-finals of the national veteran's inter-club championships.

The side beat Torquay, Bristol, East Gloucestershire and Whitchurch to reach the last eight of the competition, where they will face Leicestershire. The successful squad includes Karen Dobson, Mary Hobson, June Fisher, Sue Winters, Judy Tierney and Hilary Adams.
