Club serves up tennis courses

TENNIS fans can get ready for the Wimbledon this year by taking part in a free coaching course.

Basford Tennis Club is serving up the coaching sessions after celebrating its official reopening following a revamp.

Now adults can go along to the course, which has been dubbed 'Rusty Rackets', so they can pick up tips.

It is aimed at people who have not played tennis for a while and will try to tempt them back to the game.

The sessions run between May 13 and June 10, from 7pm to 8pm. There will also be social tennis sessions from 8pm to 9pm.
