Basford tennis

Entries will close at 6 p.m. on July 22 for the Basford Lawn Tennis Club's Evening Sentinel junior singles tournament, starting on Wednesday July 30.

Under-15 events for both boys and girls will be staged on the opening day, with the corresponding under-18 events the next day. Play will start at 9.30 a.m. on both days.

All finals will be on the Thursday, at approximately 6 p.m.

Events will be on a round robin basis and Mr. J. Whitehouse of 10, Stanley-road Basford, Newcastle, ST5 0PE will accept entries (60p per event).
