BASFORD TENNIS CLUB DANCE
Many local sporting organisations were represented at the successful annual dance of the Basford Lawn Tennis Club, held at the Castle Hotel, Newcastle, on Thursday.
The Dance Committee, of which Miss Jill Plant was Secretary, had organised the function on the usual efficient lines, and the large company spent an enjoyable time.
The excellent music and humour of Ralph Gethic and his Four Ways Club Band had much to do with the success of the dance.
