BASFORD LAWN TENNIS CLUB

The club opened the ground on Saturday last, and started the season with a record membership, having 50 playing members and 50 ground members. Nearly £30 has been spent on improvements to the ground during the past month, the east side having been fenced in with corrugated iron, gas laid on to the pavilion, &c., &c. Matches have been arranged from the 25th April to the 19th September, including two matches with The Northern Club, Manchester.
